week 35: window

marie: i haven't been feeling very creative lately. just sort of bogged down between work and constant pregnant exhaustion. at my ultrasound this week, the baby was larger than the 26 week mark i was at, so they bumped me up to 28 weeks and a new date- december 18th. no more xmas eve baby. i know the next 10 weeks or so will fly by, so i plan on enjoying the last moments of living without a wee one.
especially the sleeping in/taking naps part- all the mothers i know have told me they miss that the most. hopefully my creative juices will start flowing when i have time off, and my posts won't be so terribly boring.

naomi: The air deals blows: surely too hard, too often?
No: it is bent on bringing summer down.
Dead leaves desert in thousands, outwards, upwards,
Numerous as birds; but the birds fly away...

next weeks theme is the autumn equinox, chosen by marie.

There's a very interesting contrast between those two photos. It feels like they're showing both sides of autumn, the sunny side and the gloomy side (when it feels like winter is getting closer).

Lovely poem Naomi <3

aw thanks Adeline! It's Philip Larkin's poem not mine, I can't take the credit!
